Season Premire of Prom Queen's 'Summer Heat'

We might be in the first week of Fall, but things are just starting to heat up for the unrealistically attractive characters who made it out of the slick, 80-episode first season of Prom Queen (Tilzy.TV page) alive.

Summer Heat”, the 15-episode follow-up to the successful, dramatic web series for teens, launched today, bringing back more ominous tales of murder and intrigue amongst sexy and wantonly catty recent high school graduates.

###Produced by Michael Eisner’s “new media studio” Vuguru, along with web production house Big Fantastic – who brought the Internet another sexy, murderous web series Sam Has 7 Friends (Tilzy.TV page) – the first season of Prom Queen reportedly wrangled over 15 million views and at least $100,000 to $150,000 in revenue.

After taking into account the limited number of episodes, I’d imagine that Summer Heat will put up some similar numbers. Add a pristine desert shooting location like the foothills of Tucson, Arizona, characters with a summer vacation mentality, and more bikinis to a show with a loyal fan base, and this series is sure to be hot.

If you need a refresher on what’s going on in the show, there’s a brief recap in Summer Heat premiere embedded above.  Also check out the Prom Queen archives for all of Season One or download the ad-free version for a fee.
