Chuck Olsen loves his home state of Minnesota so much that he started a vlog about it. In addition to his experience as a Senior Web Producer at Twin Cities Public Television, he also has a background in filmmaking and blogging. His personal blog was even nominated for an award at the Southwest Interactive Festival in 2004, and his other vlog, Secret Vlog Injection , was a success until he switched his focus to Minnesota Stories and found work as a part-time correspondent for Rocketboom (Tilzy.TV page).

Chuck is now “increasingly consumed by new projects” and needs to find the brand and site he’s built a new “mommy and daddy.” He’s looking for an “organization or individual to buy, rent, or otherwise partner with Minnesota Stories…I still plan to be involved and contribute videos like so many others do. I also feel like the site could be much more if time and money were invested in it,” Chuck notes in his blog.
Minnesota Stories is actually more than a vlog. It’s become a hyperlocal community where Minnesotans, and people who care about Minnesota, actually program the content through submissions. If its manages to sufficiently engage this community, it’s a potentially very valuable asset.
