This first episode of Galacticast’s second season tells the harrowing tale of a city attacked by a giant, sexy Nazi.
About three weeks ago, I was startled by a wacky phone call. “Jamison, it’s Casey….McKinnon. How would a Jew say thank you?”
Bewildered, I responded with the Hebrew word for thank you, todah, and Casey was off the phone before I could say goodbye. Finally, I see the fruits of my advice on the most recent episode of Galacticast (Tilzy Page ). ###
This first episode of Galacticast’s second season tells the harrowing tale of a city attacked by a giant, sexy Nazi and the RoboJew defender who comes to the rescue. Since late May, fans have had to wait for the new season to kick off as the show’s creators – Casey and Rudy – had taken time off for a summer break and to ramp up production on “A Comic Book Orange” for Pulp Secret (Tilzy Page).
When I watch this show – and particularly this most recent episode – I am struck by the production value. This is a show created in an apartment with just a few people, and it looks better than some multi-million dollar films. It’s campy, peppy, smart, and the special effects are truly impressive. I have a feeling Rudy and Casey have been trading tips with Indy Mogul (Tilzy.TV page).
This particular episode is close to my heart, not only because I helped inspire the mispronounced gratitude of an “Old Jew.” It’s just funny.
