Sometimes I’m amazed at just how wrong I can be.
Last week, I blogged just a few articles about Wallstrip, the stocks and bond show with a surprising sense of humor, noting that unlike vlogs with old media connections will have an easier time partnering with and appearing on old media sites. And I’m ecstatic to relay the same muffled rumors that NewTeeVee relayed via Jossip this morning that CBS is attempting to acquire the series.
NewTeeVee notes that
both Wallstrip and CBS conspicuously declined to comment. This would be an incredible advancement for the little show that could. By the time ABC acquired Amanda Congdon, Gawker had already been throwing nicknames at her for months. Wallstrip, though having substantial clout in the video content world, and host Lindsay Campbell aren’t yet household names.Congratulations, Wallstrip. Here’s to hoping Lindsay Campbell steers clear of DuPont.
