Kai Cenat becomes Nike’s first streamer partner, has “huge” plans

Kai Cenat has snagged an ongoing partnership with Nike.

The Twitch streamer (9 million followers) and upcoming NBA All-Star Celebrity Game player said in a broadcast that he’s now “officially part of the Nike family,” with plans for “something big” during his IRL stream in Las Vegas this weekend.

“We have locked in,” he said during a Feb. 9 broadcast. “There are so many things that we have accomplished, and there are so many things I have wanted, chat…Things I have dreamed of having.”

He went on to reveal the partnership, saying, “This has been a long time waiting. Bro, we are officially a part of the Nike family. I’ve got to take a shot to that, bro. Kai x Nike!”

Nike confirmed to Tubefilter that it has a relationship with Cenat, but didn’t give specifics about what they have planned together. The footwear and apparel brand has, of course, worked with hundreds of athletes across a variety of sports since its founding in 1964, but this is the first time it’s welcomed a streamer to the team.

Cenat, clearly overjoyed with the deal, went on to tell viewers he is “officially going to be doing something huge” with Nike during his IRL stream in Vegas sometime Feb. 10 or 11.

We’ll update this story with more information about the stream and the partnership as it becomes available.
