TikTok announces creators who “will bring the For You feed to the main stage” at In The Mix event

TikTok has added some notable names to the list of In The Mix participants. The upcoming music event will be hosted by four creators: Drew Afualo, Eric Sedeño, Josh “Bru” Brubaker, and Lamar Dawson.

In The Mix is scheduled to hit Arizona’s Sloan Park on December 10. The event will be a stepping stone for TikTok’s ambitions in the music industry. The app will position itself as a driver of youth culture by sponsoring live performances from international pop icons Cardi B, Anitta, Charlie Puth, and Niall Horan. They’ll be joined on stage by some up-and-comers who have membership in TikTok’s Elevate program, including Kaliii and Isabel LaRosa.

The creators who will join those hitmakers at In The Mix possess sizable social followings of their own. Afualo, the so-called “baba yaga for misogynists,” has attracted nearly eight million followers while cracking TikTok’s Discover List. She’ll host In The Mix alongside two radio hosts (Dawson and Bru) and an artist (Sedeño).
