The Ninja Kidz are flying into new markets around the United States. The family-friendly channel is opening two new “Action Parks” in November. Locations in Hammond, Indiana and South Jordan, Utah will join the inaugural Ninja Kidz Action Park, which opened in North Richland Hills, Texas earlier this year.
On YouTube, the primary Ninja Kidz TV channel counts more than 20 million subscribers and upwards of 10 billion lifetime views, making it one of the most-watched hubs in the world. Those subscribers get a thrill from the high-flying, action-packed stunt spectaculars that Ninja Kidz is most famous for.
The Ninja Kidz Action Park concept invites youngsters to perform their own Ninja Kidz-style acrobatics. The first of those facilities opened in the Fort Worth suburb of North Richland Hills this past March. It was an immediate success; according to Ninja Kidz President J.D. Obbards, almost 4,000 attendees showed up for the Action Park’s grand opening.
“We believed from the beginning that fans would love to see a Ninja Kidz Action Park come to life, but it’s hard to imagine just how much,” Obbards told Tubefilter. “The lesson we’ve learned is your fans have a huge desire to connect on a higher level and this was our way of bringing everyone together to create an experience that’s incredibly fun and at the same time true to our core values. Opening the first park in Dallas was truly amazing and exceeded even our highest expectations.”
As Obbards and his team sought to expand their line of Action Parks, they chose their spots carefully. The South Jordan facility, located in the Salt Lake City metropolitan area, is a homecoming for Utah-based Ninja Kidz. The Hammond location will give Ninja Kidz an outpost in Chicagoland, which Obbards described as one of the channel’s “strongest viewership markets.”
The Ninja Kidz Action Park in Indiana opens on November 16, and the Utah location begins its shinobi business on November 18. Once those facilities are up and running, Ninja Kidz will move on to the next phase of its expansion. Obbards said that his team plans to establish an Action Park at the American Dream Mall in New Jersey, which also hosted the first brick-and-mortar location for MrBeast Burger.
When the Action Park opens there, it will become the chain’s flagship. On the Ninja Kidz Action Park website, the N.Y.C.-area location is listed as “coming soon,” as are locations in Las Vegas, Phoenix, and Lewisville, Texas.
Obbards told Tubefilter that Ninja Kidz will look overseas to continue expanding its Action Parks, but the team wants to “accomplish our goals here in the States” first. But no matter which way you slice it, expansion is in the cards for Ninja Kidz. Ninjas are so hot right now, and the brand behind the Action Parks is on the leading edge of the trend.
