Vlad and Niki reach 100 million subscribers with new podcast presented by Flintstones Vitamins

Vlad and Niki are coming to a podcatcher near you. The Russian-American brothers, who reach more than 100 million subscribers on their flagship YouTube channel, are the stars of a new audio show called Vlad and Niki’s Podcast Adventures.

The first episode of Podcast Adventures launched across major podcast platforms on August 29. The show, produced by Audacy and Atomic Entertainment, attempts to translate Vlad and Niki’s antics for an audio-forward medium. Components will include “fun, games, and laughs,” as well as educational STEM segments and morals at the end of each story, according to Audacy. The intended audience is kids between the ages of three and six.

The podcast will feature characters inspired by Vlad (age 10) and Niki (age 8). Their parents Sergey and Victoria will also be included.

Bayer‘s Flintstones Vitamins brand, which has played a memorable role in many childhoods, is the presenting sponsor of Podcast Adventures. “We couldn’t be more excited to expand the world of Vlad and Niki into this new format,” said Sergey and Victoria in a statement. “Podcasts and the world of audio provide us with the opportunity to tell different kinds of stories with new and exciting characters and to expand our brand to new audiences, and we’re very thankful to our wonderful partners at Audacy and Bayer for joining us on this magical journey!”

To gather an audience for their podcast, Vlad and Niki will draw from their 100 million YouTube subscribers. The kids have picked up more than 78 billion lifetime views on their primary hub, and they’ve regularly ranked among the most-watched creators in the world. In our latest U.S. Top 50 chart, Vlad and Niki took 22nd place with 174.2 million weekly views.

Podcasting is a smart move for the Florida-based family behind the Vlad and Niki videos. Audio programming is projected to grow into a $4 billion business in the U.S. by 2024, and family-oriented YouTube channels are getting in on the trend. Moonbug’s ubiquitous CoComelon brand has branched into podcasts itself, and kid star Like Nastya recently expanded her own empire by landing a film role.
