Rhett and Link’s third R-rated live show will the biggest one yet

For the third edition of their bad-boy live event series, Rhett and Link are taking steps to ensure the biggest possible audience. The two hosts of Good Mythical Morning are teaming up with Kiswe and Alamo Drafthouse to launch another edition of Good Mythical Evening, which will deliver another night of R-rated laughs on August 24.

Good Mythical Evening, which got its start in 2021, is a chance for Rhett McLaughlin and Link Neal to shed their carefully cultivated family-friendly images. One night a year, the leaders of the Mythical brand do away with their genteel Southern charm to host a frenzy of booze-fueled debauchery.

The inaugural Good Mythical Evening production proved so popular that Rhett and Link brought back the format for some “sloppy seconds” last year. The 2023 edition of the midsummer broadcast figures to be the most spectacular Good Mythical Evening yet. In a video introducing the August 24 show, McLaughlin promised that the festivities would be “uncensored, unhinged, unsober, and unmissable.”

Since in-person tickets to the show will be “very limited,” according to Rhett and Link, the duo have devised two other methods through which their fans can experience Good Mythical Evening. A live stream will be available through Kiswe, the platform that has made a name for itself by working with top internet acts like The Try Guys.

Shows broadcast on Kiswe often feature interactive, audience choice elements. The subtitle of the third Good Mythical Evening show is “Pain or Pleasure: You Decide,” which implies that Rhett and Link fans will be able to choose the specific type of naughtiness the duo puts on display.

The show’s other viewing option is even grander. To turn Good Mythical Evening into a theatrical experience, Rhett and Link partnered with Alamo Drafthouse, the brand known for the food and beverage service it provides in its cinemas. The R-rated Mythical show will air at nine Alamo Drafthouse theaters across the United States, according to a press release.

The in-person tickets that were available were first be offered to members of the Mythical Society, Rhett and Link’s subscription service. The pre-sale began on July 14, with general sales opening up on July 17. Six different ticket types are on sale. Viewers willing to pay extra will gain access to a pre-show and an after-show that will bookend the adult-oriented performance.
