Jack in the Box has introduced its official streamer: Say hi to Gamer Jack.

Jack in the Box is pressing play on its unique streaming strategy. The fast food chain has hired a 22-year-old creator named Kodie to serve as its Head Twitch Creator. To fulfill that role, Kodie will don a round-headed costume and portray a personality called Gamer Jack.

Gamer Jack’s home base is the official Jack in the Box Twitch channel, where Kodie will go live multiple times per week. Though Gamer Jack has only been live for about a month, he has already played games like Call of Duty: Warzone and Valorant while also interacting with other members of the Twitch community. He has also dropped a few fresh bars:

In upcoming streams, Kodie will play alongside rising Twitch creators. Those broadcasts will continue Jack in the Box’s effort to highlight up-and-coming talent on the Amazon-owned streaming hub. Last year, when the chain opened a virtual drive-thru on Twitch, it provided exposure for rising streamers by linking out to their accounts.

After closing up its pixelated drive-thru window, Jack in the Box doubled down on Twitch by putting out a call

for its Head Twitch Creator. By hiring an on-screen host who is “goated with the sauce” (according to the official job description), the chain is looking to ingratiate itself into the streaming world and its community of Gen Z creators. “We’re excited to take our Twitch presence to the next level by introducing a new side of Jack Box as a streamer and open up this opportunity for all creators on the platform, from amateur to pro,” Jack in the Box Senior Director of Marketing Communications Sheena Dougher said at the time.

To support Kodie in his new gig, Jack in the Box is running a promotion on its Twitch channel. Viewers who test their skills against Gamer Jack will have a chance to win a “Mystery Box” — which retails for $25 through the chain’s official store.
