One True King was busy in 2022. The streamer collective known as OTK spent the year making investments and launching hardware companies.
Now, we’re learning what OTK has in store for 2023. One of its biggest initiatives is Mythic Talent: a “full-service talent management company” co-founded by OTK members Asmongold and TipsOut.
A press release provided to Tubefilter states that Mythic Talent was formed out of a partnership between OTK streamers and “top entertainment agency minds.” The firm is led by CEO William Lucas, a veteran of esports org Tempo Storm and the AFK Agency. One of his chief deputies is Cody Gates, a former Destiny event organizer who is now the COO of Mythic Talent.
In addition to all the standard functions of a management agency, Mythic Talent will help its clients develop “anti-predatory” habits in the dealmaking arena. “Our goal at Mythic is to make the content creator’s life as easy as possible on the back end, so they can focus their energy on what’s important to them: creating content,” Lucas said in a statement. “Having worked with OTK talent in the past, when the opportunity presented itself to make something that was industry-defining, all parties involved saw the potential.”
Though Mythic Talent is a relative newcomer in the management space, it already boasts a formidable roster. It has signed more than 65 creators, who play classic games like World of Warcraft, mobile breakouts like Among Us, and everything in between. Some of the notable names within the Mytic talent network include Asmongold himself, cosplayer Tsikyo, Vtuber BuffPup, and disgraced OTK member Mizkif.
The development of Mythic Talent will help OTK establish itself as a multi-faceted creator business. The company presented one of its most recent updates as a corporate earnings report, in which it revealed new owners and upcoming programs. With a full-service talent firm behind it, OTK could soon have even more earnings to share with its fans.
