Creator Ink—the branding/product development company behind MatPat‘s TheoryWear—is getting into animation.
It quietly launched its new division, Ink Studios, in 2022 with a team of pro storytellers and animators, some of whom have experience at major studios like Disney Television Animation, and all of whom are skilled in various types of animation, including 2-D, 3-D, and rig animation.
Since launch, Ink Studios has provided services to a number of YouTube creators who make animation-driven content, like Odd1sOut, SomeThingElseYT, Let Me Explain Studios, and Haminations.
“With YouTube Shorts’ rapid growth, Ink Studios developed TheOdd1sOut’s short-form content strategy, releasing over 26 shorts since its creation in early 2022,” Creator Ink tells Tubefilter. “The creator’s Shorts are now averaging over 8 million views per video, with over fifty thousand likes and eight thousand comments!”
“Tapping into Ink Studios’ team has allowed me to focus on producing more high quality content in a shorter amount of time,” TheOdd1sOut said in a statement. “I love what they do, and am now able to reach my audience more frequently with more uploads.”
Ink Studios says it already has more creators signed up for short-form animation services, and that it “aims at becoming a major platform for creators wanting to diversify their content and grow their brand, taking advantage of the new opportunities arising in the creator industry.”
