Studio71 has signed the Stokes Twins for an exclusive advertising partnership.
The twins—Alan and Alex—are known for their prank and challenge videos, and together have amassed 19 million subscribers on YouTube and 31 million followers on TikTok.
Their partnership with Studio71 is aimed at helping them “amplify their revenue on YouTube by gaining access to Studio71’s roster of top brand partners and ad tech tools,” Studio71 tells Tubefilter.
The ad tools it’s referring to include the ability to specifically place “premium ads” (which come from deals Studio71 secured with media agencies and brands) against creators’ content, something it says will result in “new advertising revenue beyond YouTube’s AdSense without additional work on the creator’s end.”
The twins are additionally working with Studio71 to combat piracy of their videos. Studio71 recently launched a revenue reclamation tool that competes with digital rights companies like SuperBam: It helps creators track down reuploads of their videos and reclaim any ad revenue they’ve earned.
“Studio71 is excited to connect The Stokes Twins to new, high-profile brand partners and leverage our proprietary content claiming tools to diversify their revenue,” Joseph Marchese, Studio71’s EVP of creator partnerships, tells Tubefilter. “We are committed to creating new revenue opportunities for creators, which is especially important during these uncertain economic times.”
The twins’ longtime manager, Ankush Bhasin of Double Play Management, says the partnership is a “game-changer” for them.
“We cannot wait to see how Studio71 will help impact their reach and revenue,” he adds.
The deal was led by Matt Barker, Studio71’s VP of creator relations and growth strategy.
