Danny Duncan says there’s not much to do in his hometown. So he’s opening a putt putt course.

Danny Duncan has come a long way since his days as a shaggy-haired youth in Englewood, Florida. Years after he broke out on YouTube, the prankster, entrepreneur, and progenitor of the Virginity Rocks clothing line is coming home. He has received approval for a mini golf course called Putt Putt, which will open in Englewood in 2023.

Duncan told Tubefilter that there’s not much to do in Englewood, and with Putt Putt is his plan to bring some fun to his hometown. The stunt-loving creator loves a good game of mini golf, if his short-form videos are any indication. He occasionally hits the small-scale links with his pals (and pranks them while he’s there).

Englewood could certainly use some good vibes. The Gulf Coast town, which is located in between St. Petersburg and Fort Meyers, took a hard hit when Hurricane Ian washed over Florida in September 2022. In the wake of the storm, Duncan returned home to assess the damage and pass out water bottles to stranded civilians. His video about the trip raised more than $21,000 to support relief efforts.

Duncan told Tubefilter that he is the right person to bring “a cool thing” to Englewood, since he is adept at running businesses. Recently, many of the creator’s entrepreneurial endeavors have been focused on the world of athletics. His newly-launched brand, Good Sport, publishes niche backyard games that often combine two or more established sports. Putt Putt, however, is not directly affiliated with that company.

Thanks to Englewood’s native son, the town’s residents will soon have more options for their leisure time. Duncan’s plans for his hometown go beyond Putt Putt. According to a local Facebook group, Duncan purchased a large parcel of land in Englewood last year. That acreage could eventually provide a new home for the successful creator.
