Logan Paul plans to fight Andrew Tate: “This is going to happen.”

An upcoming fight could pit two of the most inflammatory creators in the world against one another. Logan Paul and Andrew Tate have both expressed interest in an upcoming match, and Paul has gone so far as to claim the event “is going to happen.”

The elder Paul brother kicked off the influencer boxing trend when he battled KSI in 2018. He later transitioned to wrestling and made his official WWE debut earlier this year. His career as a professional heel will continue when he takes on Roman Reigns on November 5.

A clash against Tate would likely bring Paul into a new venue: The Octagon. That’s the theater of battle that Tate — a former pro kickboxer-turned-controversial social media commentator — would prefer. “If the terms are fair to both parties, I will fight Logan in the cage and destroy him,” Tate said in response to Paul’s initial challenge.

As a kickboxer, Tate compiled a record of 76 wins and nine losses, including 23 knockout victories. As a mixed martial arts fighter, Tate has competed three times, with two wins and a loss to his name.

Given Paul’s dodgy history

and Tate’s self-identified status as a “sexist” and “misogynist,” there are plenty of people out there who would enjoy watching these two men beat the snot out of each other. However, until they step into the ring against one another, there’s always a chance this tilt will end up alongside other proposed Logan Paul fights that never materialized.

Logan’s brother has also been beset by combat sports cancelations, such as his scuttled matchup with pro fighter Hasim Rahman, Jr. When Jake Paul has donned his gloves, he’s been dominant. To earn his latest victory, he overcame MMA legend Anderson Silva in a boxing match. Though the younger Paul brother celebrated his win, he also lamented the event’s subpar pay-per-view audience.

Poor viewership would probably not be a problem for Logan Paul and Andrew Tate. The former combatant usually draws big crowds to watch his in-ring exploits, and the latter has achieved an astonishing level of influence, especially among young men. Despite being banned from most major  platforms, Tate was named as teens’ favorite social media personality in the latest edition of a biannual survey.
