MrBeast, Dhar Mann, Wengie among keynote speakers at this year’s VidSummit conference

After putting together a strong speaker lineup last year, VidSummit is upping the ante even further in 2022. The three-day conference, which gives creators a platform to share their favorite techniques and insights, will return to Los Angeles on September 27.

The list of keynote speakers who will attend this year’s VidSummit is a who’s who of the online video community. Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson, who took an ownership stake in VidSummit three years ago, will once again address attendees at the annual meet-up.

Other keynote speakers will be able to speak to their specific strengths: Ryan Trahan will surely discuss the impact of his 30-day cross-country voyage, while Wendy ‘Wengie’ Huang can speak of her adventures in Web3 gaming. Eric ‘Airrack’ Decker is known for dishing on the creator economy, special effects master Zach King is a long-time presence in the short-form video world, and moralistic superstar Dhar Mann will have a chance to explain how he conquered platforms like Facebook. I also want to give a shoutout to VTuber proponent Kwebbelkop and his panel on innovation.

Consultant Derral Eves, who founded VidSummit in 2014, will also speak at the 2022 edition of the conference. “Word got out that this is the place to be if you’re serious about growing an audience,” he said. “But a lot of people are surprised when they learn just as much about growing their business as they do about making videos.”

Eves invites influencers, marketers, agencies, and brands to check out VidSummit, but the event is explicitly not for fans. That exclusive air is maintained thanks in part to VidSummit’s prices, which cater to companies and creators rather than individuals. This year, a three-day pass plus access to replays will run you $999. You can also access the replays for $199 without attending the conference.

To maintain that professional feel, several executives will join the featured creators on stage. An email from VidSummit highlighted Yoola president Eyal Baumel and marketing pro Janelle Page as “speakers you don’t want to miss.”
