As a purveyor of video equipment, keyboards, headsets, and other peripherals, Logitech knows that the creator economy depends on its services. The Swiss company has supported videomakers through its Logitech For Creators initiative, and now it’s doubling down on its pledge to support the online video community’s technical needs. It has announced a collaborative platform called ‘Together We Create‘ as well as a star-studded ‘Creator Society‘ that will feature notable names like celebrity choreographer JaQuel Knight and comedian Josh Richards.
Together We Create kicked off with a multi-cultural video that featured the members of the new Creator Society. In addition to the American Knight and the Canadian Richards, the campaign also includes French musical artists Chloé Stafler and Pastel, as well as British gamer King Jae. Streamers Tatted Poodle and Friskk round out the program’s inaugural lineup.
The Creator Society’s mission will be twofold: Logitech will spotlight its partner creators and give them space to share the sources of their inspiration. At the same time, the Society’s members will work with Logitech to launch programs that will assist the technical, developmental, and mental health needs of the creative community.
“The most exciting thing about this collaboration is that we get to create a space for other creators that look and feel like me, while sharing similar values,” Knight said in a statement. “Impacting, encouraging, and inspiring the next generation of artists and creators are all things I am deeply passionate about, and I am thrilled to be in a partnership geared toward learning from yesterday to create a better tomorrow for us all.”
The Creator Society is just one aspect of the broader Together We Create platform. Logitech is also bringing back its Song Breaker Awards, which celebrate artists who are making an impact on TikTok. The inaugural Song Breaker ceremony was hosted by Sienna Mae Gomez and Larray, and for the follow-up, Logitech is once again turning to a big name. Bretman Rock will lead the celebration of up-and-coming musical talent — take that, Grammys.
