Hulu’s The D’Amelio Show has been re-upped for a second season.
The first season of the show painted a somewhat harrowing picture of TikTok’s first family, chronicling the ways in which Dixie and Charli D’Amelio weathered online criticism and ensuing mental health struggles. The second season will continue to follow the famous family — including parents Marc and Heidi — as they chase their dreams in Hollywood.
Hulu says that the first season of The D’Amelio Show was its most-watched unscripted series ever in the month following its release. Moreover, the #TheDAmelioShow hashtag garnered 600 million views on TikTok, the streamer said.
“The candor, charm, and genuine affection that Marc, Heidi, Dixie, and Charli share with each other and with their fans has resonated with Hulu viewers,” Disney Television’s EVP of unscripted and alternative entertainment, Rob Mills, said in a statement. “As we look ahead to a second season, we are excited to watch them take on new challenges as they pursue their dreams.”
The D’Amelio Show is executive produced by Eli Holzman and Aaron Saidman for The Intellectual Property Corporation (IPC), and Sara Reddy, who serves as showrunner.
