Snapchat has made three global hires on its talent partnerships team, to facilitate relationships with creators and leverage its products — from Stories to original shows to Spotlight, explained the company’s head of talent partnerships, Jim Shepherd.
Julie Bogaert (pictured above), who is based in Paris, has been named Snapchat’s head of EMEA talent partnerships. It’s a newly created role that will see Bogaert overseeing talent relations and strategy in the EMEA region, reporting to Shepherd.
Prior to joining Snap, Bogaert served as a strategic partnerships manager at Facebook and Instagram, where she oversaw partnerships with the Royal Family, the Beckhams, Jamie Oliver, Edward Enninful, Zoella, David Guetta, DJ Snake, Huda Beauty, JR, and Rosalia.
Additionally, Racquel Douglas has been named Snap’s manager of sports talent partnerships. Douglas formerly led branded content for LeBron James’ Uninterrupted media company, and will be based in Los Angeles, also reporting to Shepherd.
Finally, Emily McDonnell has been appointed manager of EMEA talent partnerships. She will be based in London and report to Bogaert, overseeing talent partnerships in the U.K., Norway, and the Netherlands. McDonnell previously worked in influencer marketing for the likes of Bumble and Google.
