Josh Richards To Mentor Up-And-Coming Creators For Logitech Talent Search

Computer peripherals giant Logitech, through its influencer marketing division, has unveiled a talent search for up-and-coming creators.

The grand prize winner of that contest, dubbed Creator Incubator: UpNext, will be mentored by TikTok star and entrepreneur Josh Richards, who has also been named creator-in-residence for the company. An accompanying Creator Incubator series, featuring Richards in action, will be sponsored by Logitech’s Blue microphone brand.

Interested creators can submit their applications to participate in the program right here, and check out an announcement video below. Submissions, which are open through Sept. 5 to creators in the U.S. and Canada, require 60-second intro videos that showcase unique content stylings, Logitech says.

Two weeks of community voting will then result in 20 creators being chosen on September 12 — each of whom will win $725 worth of Logitech gear. Another round of voting will see the field whittled down to 10 creators, who will receive an additional $1,000 in cash. One grand prize winner, to be announced in October, will become Richards’ new mentee.

“I’ve had the benefit of mentors across many industries and hard knock lessons as a creator,” the 19-year-old said in a statement. “Now that I have the platform and privilege, I want to give back, share my experience and help creators innovate, grow and build their brand.”
