Underscore Talent has onboarded a new talent manager, Nadi Filsoof, who arrives at the newly-formed firm from Mattel.
At the digital talent management company — co-founded in Jan. 2021 by Studio71 co-founders Michael Green, Reza Izad, and Dan Weinstein — Filsoof will facilitate entertainment and brand partnerships while managing a diverse roster of artists, creators, and entrepreneurs.
Nadi will be building his own client roster at Underscore, and in the meantime will be helping with the company’s existing slate of YouTubers and TikTokers. In recent months, the company has signed CelinaSpookyBoo, the Anasala Family, Vlad & Niki, Shiloh & Bros, and Roman Atwood.
Filsoof joins Underscore from Mattel, where he most recently served as celebrity and influencer partnerships lead for its vehicles portfolio, including Hot Wheels, Matchbox, Disney and Pixar Cars, and MarioKart. Prior to Mattel, he served as a consultant at PR firms Rogers & Cowan and Sunshine Sachs. Filsoof began his career as a hybrid talent agent, working with celebs and influencers alike at UTA and ICM.
“I am thrilled to be joining Underscore and get back to my roots of developing and growing client businesses,” Filsoof said in a statement. “Underscore wants to rewrite today’s management playbook and it completely aligns with my multi-dimensional approach to further push the envelope with new and emerging trends, platforms and talent.”
All told, Underscore’s talent roster exceeds hundreds of millions of followers that have clocked millions of dollars in brand deals to date. Underscore also announced in the launch of an esports division that will rep top gaming creators like Swagg, CodeMiko, Aydan, H3CZ, and Scump.
