Rooster Teeth has named Emmy winner Jejuan Guillory its new head of casting and talent strategy.
In this role, Guillory will help enhance Rooster Teeth’s creator roster, which appears in content across its social platforms, animated projects, talk shows, live-action series, Let’s Plays, merch endeavors, and live events. He will report to Rooster Teeth’s SVP of partnerships and strategy, Luis Medina.
“Creators have been a huge part of Rooster Teeth’s unique creative culture and are the cornerstone of our global community,” Medina said in a statement. “Jejuan at the helm of our casting and talent strategy will bring diverse new voices to our community that reflects gaming culture as it continues to boom.”
Guillory counts a decade of experience in casting, production, and development at the likes of MTV, Spike, Discovery, the CW, ABC, and Animal Planet. He formerly worked in business development and partner marketing strategy for Microsoft‘s content and gaming sector, and before that served as head of production for now-defunct Defy Media’s Screen Junkies Plus.
Rooster Teeth’s top talent include Barbara Dunkelman, Gavin Free, Alfredo Diaz, and more. Creators within the Rooster Teeth network have also been tapped for brand partnerships across parent company WarnerMedia properties, including The Touch Base podcast aftershow for HBO’s The Nevers, and nerd culture talk show Popcorn & Shield for Warner Bros.
