YouTube vet Jenna ‘Marbles’ Mourey, who departed her career as an influencer less than a year ago, is engaged to longtime partner Julien Solomita.
Solomita, who is still active on socials, confirmed the news on a Twitch stream, as spotted by YouTube news and gossip creator Def Noodles (below).
“A little while ago — this is so weird — I asked Jenna to marry me and she said yes,” Solomita said. “So, we are engaged.”
Last
June, Mourey announced that she was indefinitely stepping away from her YouTube channel, as well as a joint podcast with Solomita. At the time, she apologized for past racist videos — one in which she could be seen donning blackface, and another containing song lyrics making fun of Asian people — and privated most of her old content.At the same time, Mourey’s channel is still live with select videos, and counts 20.1 million subscribers.
