YouTube beauty gurus and gifted storytellers Loey Lane and Eleanor ‘Snitchery’ Barnes are teaming up for a new podcast, in collaboration with Spotify’s Parcast studio as well as the multi-faceted entertainment outfit Wheelhouse.
The series, dubbed Internet Urban Legends, bows tomorrow, and will see the duo scouring the web for chilling unsolved mysteries. Lane, who grew up in a haunted house, will serve as the resident evidence expert, while Barnes is a skeptic who will furnish questions and reactions to different clues and conspiracies along the way.
Weekly episodes will cover, for instance, creepy TikTok videos; the haunted Watcher house in New Jersey; and the legend that no one has ever died at Disney World.
Lane, a beauty vlogger and paranormal storytime teller who authored the 2017 novel Haunted In Hollywood, counts 2.2 million YouTube subscribers, while Barnes is best known for her colorful wigs and makeup stylings on Instagram, where she has amassed 1.1 million followers. Last month, she signed to the Studio71 multi-channel network.
