YouTube animal expert Coyote Peterson has signed with 33 & West Talent Agency for representation in all areas, including television, motion picture, animation, live appearances, and branding.
Peterson launched his YouTube channel, Brave Wilderness, in 2014, and has since brought in more than 18 million subscribers with hundreds of education-focused videos about various wildlife. He’s become particularly known for his willingness to be bitten, pinched, and/or stung by pretty much anything non-lethal, like notoriously painful tarantula hawks, snapping turtles, and bullet ants.
This past February, Peterson expanded to television with Animal Planet’s Coyote Peterson: Brave the Wild, a series where he tracks down some of the world’s most elusive creatures for close encounters. Also in February, he inked a deal
with Animal Planet parent Discovery to develop toys, apparel, and other consumer products.“I am thrilled to have teamed up with 33 & West, collectively we share an ambitious drive for the future of Brave Wilderness and our vision of how to best bring animal entertainment and a message of conservation to the world has never been clearer!” Peterson said in a statement.
Los Angeles-based 33 & West also represents YouTubers Danny Duncan (5.13 million subscribers) and Eric D’Alessandro (26K).
Peterson will continue to be managed by Alex Murray at Brillstein Entertainment Partners.
