Stage TEN, the live and interactive video company that provided the tech behind MrBeast’s record-setting YouTube Original Creator Games and John Krasinski’s Some Good News prom, has brought in four new senior executives.

Founded in 2014 and based in Toronto,, Stage TEN offers what it calls a “virtual control room” that allows clients to broadcast, edit, and customize live video across platforms like YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, and Twitter. It currently works with more than 150,000 creators, brands, organizations, and events, the company says.

New executives are: former Wayfair Canada CMO Davinder Singh as COO; cut.com founder Mike Gaston as president; producer and director Sonia Hong as head of production and creative development; and former BuzzFeed chief content officer Melinda Lee as strategic advisor.

Singh’s responsibilities include further building out Stage TEN’s team, and overseeing operations across sales, marketing, product, and finance. Gaston will oversee development of interactive and transactional content, and will build relationships with “major brands and personalities,” Stage TEN says. Hong, who worked on Creator Games

, will continue leveraging the company’s technology in creative partnerships. And Lee, who managed Tasty, Nifty, Goodful, As/Is, and Playful for BuzzFeed, will bring her experience in “designing and scaling brands into sustainable revenue-generating business,” per Stage TEN.

“We’re extremely proud to welcome this top-level talent at the nexus of content and commerce,” Stage TEN CEO Dave Lazar said in a statement.

Stage TEN raised an undisclosed amount of seed funding last year from Next 10 Ventures, which was founded in 2018 by former YouTube exec Benjamin Grubbs.
