Quirky YouTube star and actor-slash-musician Flula Borg has dropped a new single dubbed “Self-Care Sunday.”
Borg, who hails from Germany, is debuting the track — an ode to relaxation — today exclusively on the YouTube channel of Conan O’Brien’s production company, Team Coco (7.1 million subscribers). The song also features an appearance by musical comedy duo Ninja Sex Party, and marks Borg’s first single since 2016’s “Animalbum.” In 2015, Borg also released a song titled “I Want To Touch You,” and he also previously composed music for Grace Helbig’s E! talk show, including a track called “Sweet Potato Casserole.”
The music video for “Self-Care Sunday” was directed by Sean Barrett
, and sees Borg at a spin class, yoga, and enjoying a farmer’s market, among other weekend activities. The song was co-written and produced by Jim Roach, alongside writers Jay Stolar and David Beiner.Borg regularly appears on O’Brien’s TBS talk show, Conan. He will also lend his voice to an the second season of Kobe Bryant’s youth sports podcast, The Punies, as well as the Dreamworks animated film Trolls World Tour. Borg is also the host of his own podcast, Boom Time.
