17-Year-Old British Phenom ‘Morgz’ Hudson Blasts Past 10 Million Subscribers

British YouTuber Morgan ‘Morgz’ Hudson has a Diamond Play Button in the mail.

The 17-year-old Sheffield vlogger has crossed the 10 million subscriber threshold, after first launching his channel back in 2014, at age 13. Hudson’s challenge videos, gaming commentaries, and family pranks have also helped the young star garner 1.6 billion lifetime views. Over the last year in particular, Hudson has experienced astronomic growth — including 6.3 million new subscribers and multi-millions of views per video. This would be an impressive feat for anyone, but Hudson uploads near-daily.

He also spearheads a creator collective of sorts. Hudson frequently collaborates on videos with his mother, Jill Hudson (who operates a separate channel called Morgz Mum

with 3.1 subscribers) and his girlfriend, Kiera Bridget (3 million subscribers). To this end, Hudson embarked on his first-ever tour across the U.K. last fall alongside his mother in a live show aptly dubbed Morgz Vs. Mum.

“I’m super proud and grateful for this huge achievement,” Hudson tells Tubefilter. “I couldn’t do any of it if it weren’t for the best fans out there — not forgetting my mum, my dad, Martin [Hudson’s stepdad], and the rest of the squad who have shown so much support along the way.”
