Top talent agency Abrams Artists Agency (AAA) has added a swath of new creators to its rapidly-expanding gaming roster.
Its newest creators are The Warp Zone (2.3 million subscribers on YouTube), P2istheName (2.3 million), Datto (927K), ReviewTechUSA (826K), EwokTTV (108K followers on Twitch), and actor Jason Mewes (of Jay and Silent Bob fame, who counts one million followers on Facebook).
Brian Cho, AAA’s president and COO, said the agency’s gaming department “is continuing to boom with a wave of impressive newcomers and well-established influencers in the world of esports and gaming.”
He added, “With the addition of these power players, it will allow the agency to help take them to new levels and further build their individual brands through new and exciting opportunities.”
A little more about those power players . . .
The Warp Zone, a sketch-and-musical comedy group founded in 2010, recently survived the collapse of Defy Media and has resumed independently producing their pop culture-laden content. They release one new video each Friday.
P2istheName is a former athlete who moved to streaming after sustaining in-game injuries. Like many YouTube gamers, he’s found a massive audience by producing Fortnite content.
Datto previously ran a small channel covering news and updates about the multiplayer first-person shooter video game Destiny. He recently began livestreaming, and also recently expanded his content production to include vlogs and commentary on upcoming video games.
ReviewTechUSA is a 10-year-old channel blending humor with gaming and tech news, unboxings, and reviews of the latest gadgets.
EwokTTV is a 13-year-old professional Fortnite player who recently became Twitch’s first deaf gaming partner. She’s set impressive Fortnite records — like winning 17 solo matches in one day.
And finally, Mewes is perhaps more widely known as the ‘Jay’ half of comedic duo Jay and Silent Bob (alongside Kevin Smith). He’s starred in five films as Jay, and he and Smith currently run a podcast called Jay & Silent Bob Get Old. Mewes is a big Fortnite fan, and he often livestreams his gameplay from his Facebook page.
Other gaming creators AAA has added in the past few months include Matt Cobuzio, Britanni Johnson, Sam Seum, SayNoToRage, and Meg Turney.
