The popular and long-running daytime talk show Live With Kelly And Ryan has previously invited digital stars on its air, including a themed YouTuber week last year featuring Colleen Ballinger, Joey Graceffa, Vsauce, and more.
And this week, Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest are diving back into the digital fray with a first-of-its-kind initiative dubbed LIVEtember — which serves to kick off the chat show’s 31st season. Every morning this week, beginning today, Ripa and Seacrest will go live from one of the show’s digital platforms to give viewers a glimpse behind-the-scenes. These streams will be hosted by famed YouTubers, who will then appear on the linear broadcast of that day’s show.
Today’s LIVEtember episode starred budding lifestyle entreprenuer Lauren ‘ LaurDIY’ Riihimaki, while upcoming iterations will feature Alisha Marie on Wednesday, the Merrell Twins on Thursday, and Collins Key closing out the week on Friday.
You can check out the Facebook Live pre-show hosted by Riihimaki below, in which she greets audience members, teases her Live DIY segment, and takes questions from viewers.
