Lovable YouTube chef Rosanna Pansino is about to become a second-time author.
The 33-year-old has announced the follow-up to 2015’s The Nerdy Nummies Cookbook — this one titled Baking All Year Round. As opposed to nerd-themed dishes, Baking is chock full of 86 sweet and savory recipes — twice the amount as contained in Nerdy Nummies — themed around holidays and special occasions, including Valentine’s Day, Halloween, and Christmas. Featured dishes include confetti pancakes and heart-shaped ravioli, according to the tome’s jacket description, while Pansino will also offer vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free options.
Baking All Year Round is being published by Atria Books, and will drop on Oct. 23 as a prelude to the fall holiday season. A hardcover version is currently available for preorder, priced at $30. Pansino says that the book has been in the works for over a year, and is dedicated to her mom and dad
, given that she took inspiration from celebrating holidays with her family over the years. In addition to her cookbook business, Pansino also harnessed her massive YouTube following (10.4 million subscribers) to launch a baking line last year called Ro in partnership with Wilton. The nerd-leaning products are inspired by Pansino’s flagship Nerdy Nummies YouTube series, and the first wave of product launches included 8-bit heart-shaped sprinkles and geek-chic cookie cutters and cupcake liners adorned with whimsical sayings like ‘life is what you bake it’.
Pansino recently updated the line with new items, including a unicorn cupcake decorating kit and a princess cake pan (see below). Ro is available at Michael’s and Jo-Ann Fabric & Crafts.
