Description: The community of hawkers who buy used items and resell them online for a profit will see their line of work satirized in an upcoming TV pilot. Nick Dolinski

is the creator of Slightly Damaged, which follows four offbeat characters who are all plying their respective trades in the world of used goods.

In Slightly Damaged, individual curios will serve as the bases for entire episodes. In the planned pilot, for example, one reseller’s obsession with an urn will lead to a wacky series of events. To fit that tone, the show will feature off-color jokes and zany characters. “It’s like Storage Wars but scripted,” Dolinski said in his pitch video, “…but i think most of Storage Wars is actually scripted.”

With the financing he is seeking on Indiegogo, Dolinski plans to fund the pilot of Slightly Damaged. From there, he’ll be able to see if there is an audience for the “darker and more nihilistic” show he has planned.

Creator Bio: Dolinski has worked in various post-production roles, including editing and coloring. Some examples of his work can be found on his personal website.

Best Perk: For $20, Dolinski will send you a hurtful message via email. For the price, we’re expecting his insults to cut deeper than those of your typical Twitter user.

Why You Should Fund It: The snippets of Slightly Damaged that Dolinski shared in his pitch video are promising. From the looks of it, he will be able to put forth the dark, comedic style he is aiming for, all while introducing a cast of characters who carry their own individual idiosyncrasies. If you feel his bleakly humorous take on Storage Wars is worth seeing, you can help him out by supporting him via Indiegogo.
