YouTube Stars Anthony Padilla, Kingsleyyy, Tyler Oakley To Receive Makeovers On ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’

An upcoming installment of the hit competition series RuPaul’s Drag Race will turn “social media kings into queens.” That’s the title of an episode that will air on VH1 at 8 PM ET on May 24 and will feature guest appearances from digital standouts Anthony Padilla, Tyler Oakley, Kingsleyyy, Chester See, Raymond Braun, and Frankie Grande.

The episode, which is the tenth in Drag Race‘s tenth season, will pair each of the guest influencers with one of the six queens left in the competition. The competitors will then be asked to makeover their social-famous partners, most of whom have noted for their activism in the LGBTQ+ community.

A preview of the episode, which is available through the VH1 website, offers a brief look at the featured creators. You can find those introductions about 11 minutes into the clip embedded below:

The recipients of the makeovers will not be the first YouTube stars to appear on Drag Race. Todrick Hall, who first rose to prominence thanks to his intricately-choreographed music videos, has appeared several times as a judge on the Emmy-winning program.

One of the guests on the upcoming episode has even hung out with RuPaul in the past. Oakley, a familiar face in the YouTube community, appearance on a 2013 episode of the web series RuPaul Drives, which premiered on the YouTube channel of Drag Race producer World of Wonder.

The tenth season of Drag Race will span 14 episodes. Guests who have appeared in previous installments include Hall, Randy Rainbow, and Stephen Colbert.
