Univision Creator Network Promotes Young Latina Artists With New Residency Program

The Univision Creator Network is planning to jumpstart the careers of three young Latina artists by moving them into a house together. The digital network run by Spanish-language broadcaster Univision has announced a residency program that will, in the words of a press release, help a select group of creators “develop their singing, writing and dancing skills as well as grow their social media platforms.”

The three young women who will inaugurate the residency program are Franny Arrieta (who was announced as a member of the Univision Creator Network back in February), Solé Bovelli, and Vanessa Hernandez, all of whom moved into a house in LA’s Silver Lake neighborhood in April. They each discussed their participation in the program in vlogs they posted on their respective YouTube channels.

As part of the program, Arrieta, Bovelli, and Hernandez will be able to take advantage of mentoring sessions, boot camps, and studio sessions, all of which will be hosted by industry experts. Topics that will be covered in those sessions will include vocals, songwriting, choreography, and music production.

Ultimately, the program will help its featured artists develop their own original songs. As they work toward that goal, they will chronicle their time in the residency through weekly videos.

The Univision Creator Network was launched in 2015. To learn more information about it, visit its website.
