Buffer Festival

Jon Cozart, Elle Mills, Shan Boodram To Premiere Works At Inaugural Buffer Festival LA

The Buffer Festival will host a star-studded array of digital talent at its first-ever Los Angeles event.

Musician Jon Cozart, vlogger Elle Mills, and sexologist Shan Boodram will attend Buffer Festival L.A. on May 17, which will comprise panel discussions, a red carpet, and exclusive screenings of projects helmed by YouTube stars. Other attendees include actress Anna Akana, comedy vloggers Nicola Foti and Gus Johnson, and filmmakers Dom Fera and Tim Hautekiet. Additional guests will be announced in coming weeks.

“It’s not about followers or views, it’s about the work,” Buffer CEO Scott Benzie said of the kind of talent that the Festival seeks out. “We want to strip down the idea that these people are influencers. Influence is an outcome. This accomplished group of creators have constructed their own path and mastered their technique to get where they are, and they should be recognized for it.”
