Tickets for RTX Austin — the annual gaming, animation, and internet culture conference hosted by pioneering digital media brand Rooster Teeth — are now on sale.
The event will be held from August 3 to 5 and will take place at the Austin Convention Center, JW Marriott, downtown Hilton, and Fairmount Austin. While the first batch of tickets were exclusively available to members of First, Rooster Teeth’s subscription service, discounted early bird tickets are now available for all prospective attendees, though regular pricing will go into effect on March 9. Single day passes begin at $45, while a weekend ticket comprising access to all three days of the festival is priced at $99.
Last year’s RTX Austin saw a staggering 63,000 attendees — which is more than double the amount of guests that attended Vidcon
in 2017. At RTX, Rooster Teeth hosts panels, exclusive screenings of forthcoming projects, concerts, and more. Last year’s special guests included actor Andy Serkis and the storied producer Fred Seibert. Programming announcements about this year’s event will be announced in coming weeks.RTX was established in 2011, and its inaugural event hosted 600 guests. In addition to the flagship Austin event, RTX has spawned international iterations in both London and Sydney. RTX London will be held September 15 and 16 at the Excel convention center.
