‘Black Panther’ Stars Respond To Crowdsourced Questions In Video Version Of Tumblr’s ‘Answer Time’

Black Panther is the most popular movie on the planet right now, and by featuring its cast and director in a question-and-answer session, Tumblr is promoting a new initiative. The microblogging platform has launched the first video version of its Answer Time feature, with stars like Michael B. Jordan and Lupita Nyong’o participating.

In each edition of Answer Time, fans suggest questions for famous figures, who share answers on their blogs. In each of the Black Panther videos, three stars of the film take turns responding to these queries. Here, for example, is Jordan, Winston Duke, and director Ryan Coogler on their favorite lines from the film.

The format of Answer Time resembles that of Reddit’s “Ask Me Anything” forum, which has occasionally featured its own video responses. For Tumblr, taking a bet on video is not a bad idea, and Black Panther is a great place to start. Check out the collected Answer Time videos here.
