Dom Zeglaitis, Jason Nash, Fellow ‘Vlog Squadders’ Release Latest Rap Video

Yet another member of YouTube’s ‘Vlog Squad’ — a crew of former Viners who have risen to renown via appearances in David Dobrik’s massively popular daily vlogs — is furthering his foray into music.

Lithuanian-born hip hop artist and YouTube star Dom Zeglaitis has recruited fellow Squad members Jason Nash, BigNik, and Seth Francois for his latest track, appropriately dubbed “Vlog Squad.” The song arrived on Valetine’s Day — roughly two weeks after Scotty Sire, another Vlog Squad member, released the trending lyric video for his pop tune “Mister Glassman.” In “Vlog Squad,” the guys make the usual boasts about money and women, and Zeglaitis also manages to work in a clever promo for his online merch store Zeggoz.com.

“We are so excited to be releasing an official rap song for our listeners, and can’t wait to hear feedback moving forward,” Nash told Tubefilter

in a statement.

Zeglaitis’ previous musical outing, “Gucci Bands” — featuring Francois and Dobrik — nabbed 1.3 million views last December, while BigNik’s “Look At My Flex” garnered 390,000 views in January. He’s the latest in a growing line of YouTube stars — including Jake and Logan Paul, Elijah Daniel, and Tana Mongeau — to release rap tracks that straddle a peculiar line between earnest musical ambition and self-parody. Collectively, Zeglaitis, Nash, BigNik, and Francois count 2.4 million YouTube subscribers.

Check out “Vlog Squad” below. There’s also a behind the scenes look at the recording process, shared by Zeglaitis, right here.
