iJustine Co-Designs Lego Sculpture For Children’s Art Charity

Veteran tech creator Justine Ezarik, known to her 4.6 million YouTube subscribers as iJustine, helped design a Lego sculpture to benefit the Art Revolution Foundation — a children’s art education charity.

Ezarik, 33, is part of an initiative called Hugman, which is currently being spearheaded by the contemporary artist Nathan Sawaya. Sawaya exclusively creates art with Legos, and works closely with the Art Revolution Foundation — an organization that encourages families and communities to make art a priority in their lives.

The most recent iteration of Hugman saw a series of more than 100 20-inch-tall Lego sculptures — that wrap their arms around table legs, signposts, bike racks, trees, and fence posts — appear across Los Angeles on Jan. 21, National Hugging Day

. The pieces were designed by Sawaya in collaboration with bold-faced influencers and stars like Ezarik, skateboarder Tony Hawk, graffiti artist Alec Monopoly, actress Ashley Eckstein, and more. Select Hugman sculptures are currently available for sale on Charity Buzz, with all proceeds benefiting the Art Revolution Foundation.

Ezarik’s sculpture, pictured below, is bedecked in camo print — one of her perennial favorite patterns. Dubbed Desert Dan, the statuette touts an estimated value of $1,000 — though bidding start at $325. The auction concludes on Valentine’s Day — and no bids have been tendered just yet.
