Univision Creator Network Signs Seven New Latino Partners

The two-year-old Univision Creator Network has added some new names to its roster of talent. The Univision-run media company’s new signees include a diverse crop of Latino creators, including some who gained fame via TV and others who are known for their work online.

While all of the new signees will use their partnerships with the Univision Creator Network to grow their respective channels, they are all at different points in their career. Colombian personality Andrea Espada, for example, has found a large audience on platforms like Facebook and is now looking to expand her presence on YouTube. Prankster Sergio Mejia, on the other hand, has established himself on YouTube but now has an opportunity to build his brand across the social web.

The Univision Creator Network is also fostering up-and-comers like vlogger Franny Arrieta and the couple channel This Is L&S. Daddy vlogger LGNDFRVR, fashionista Nury Jimenez, and actress Emily Tosta. Together, these seven channels will add millions of subscribers to the bilingual network’s reach.

“We are committed to fostering established and up-and-coming talent and this diverse group of creators represents some of the brightest, young Latinos talent who share our mission to entertain and empower our audience,” said Univision Creator Network VP Jennifer Perri in a press release. “We welcome Andrea, LGND, Nury, Sergio, Emily, Franny and Landon and Shyla to the Univision Creator Network family and we look forward to creating opportunities across Univision’s ecosystem.”

The signees will join the existing partners of Univision’s digital network, including Eric Ochoa, Josh Leyva, and the Martinez Twins. In total, the network claimed 4.2 billion global video views in 2017.
