Creator Summit To Spotlight LinkedIn’s Growing Video Community At VidCon

Since enabling video uploads on its platform last year, LinkedIn has played host to a growing community of creators. Now, those creators on the professionally-oriented social site are looking to get in touch with the online video community in a logical way by upping their presence at VidCon

. The 2018 edition of the annual gathering will feature the first-ever LinkedIn Video Creator Summit, which will offer strategic tips and networking opportunities to LinkedIn videomakers.

The Video Summit will be hosted by Goldie Chan (pictured above), the founder of a marketing agency called Warm Robots and a prominent user of LinkedIn’s video platform. Between 10 AM and 2 PM PT on Saturday, June 23, Chan will host a gathering that will be open to attendees of Vidcon’s Creator and Industry Tracks. Those pass-holders will also gain access to workshops and seminars that will discuss elements of LinkedIn videomaking. Those events will take place on the Thursday and Friday of VidCon, directly preceding the Summit.

“This is the very first LinkedIn Video Creator Summit ever and it’s such a privilege for me to host it at VidCon — the place where everyone comes to learn about the newest video innovation,” said Chan, who recently visited the LinkedIn headquarters and posted a vlog about it. “This summit will bring in amazing LinkedIn content creators from all over the world to share how LinkedIn video has changed their lives, businesses, and brands in only a few months.”
