In promoting its products, Hasbro has often sought partnerships with YouTube stars, and in order to help sell one of its new games, it has dipped into that well once again. The toymaker enlisted adrenaline junkie Devin “Devin Supertramp” Graham for a video that features its Jenga Pass Challenge product.
Jena Pass Challenge adds a Hot Potato-esque element to the Jenga formula by inviting players to hand off a block tower until it eventually topples over. Graham added his own wrinkle to that conceit by setting up a Jenga Pass Challenge game that takes place inside a bouncy house as it shoots down a ski slope. As per usual, he captured the experience with deft camerawork, showing off the portability of Hasbro’s new toy.
Graham, whose YouTube channel recently surpassed one billion total views, is known for posting super-sized stunt videos, which are occasionally sponsored
by brands. He is the latest creator to team up with Hasbro, which has also worked with YouTube stars like Ali-A and Joe Santagato.“For the first time, the classic game of Jenga is being taken ‘off the table’ with the Jenga Pass Challenge game,” Hasbro Gaming SVP of Marketing Jonathan Berkowitz told Tubefilter. “We know Devin loves to take on extreme and exciting challenges, so we felt he would be the perfect person to showcase how this new game can be played almost anywhere, in any situation – even sliding down a snowy mountain in a bouncy house!”
Jenga Pass Challenge is currently available from multiple retailers, including Amazon.
