YouTube Duo Elijah And Christine Separating Videos Onto Their Own Respective Channels

The individuals involved in one of YouTube’s most notable partnerships are moving into separate digital homes. Elijah Daniel and Christine Sydelko, whose co-produced videos are released under the name Elijah and Christine, have announced their decision to launch channels of their own.

Elijah and Christine aren’t breaking up their partnership; they just released a coloring book together and have plans to co-host a live show together in the future. But by continuing to funnel their work onto a shared hub, they failed to live by the mantra that had previously driven their content, Daniel explained. “It’s us going us against our entire brand that we’ve built,” he said in a video. “We’re telling our fans the entire time, ‘be yourself,’ but at the same time we’re forcing ourselves to make s**tty content we don’t want to make.”

The channel formerly known as Elijah and Christine will belong to Sydelko, who recently appeared in one of Katy Perry’s music videos. Daniel will return to his vlogging hub and will continue to further his musical career. He performs under the name Lil Phag, and has released several music videos on a Vevo channel.

Daniel and Sydelko made their first video together in 2015. They have since become known for their stunts, including a recent appearance on the Maury show. The YouTube channel formerly known as Elijah and Christine has more than one million subscribers.
