YouTube Star Meghan Rienks Hosted Backstage Coverage Of FOX’s Reboot Of ‘A Christmas Story’

On December 17, FOX launched A Christmas Story Live!, a TV program that serves as a reboot of the classic film A Christmas Story. Though the special received poor reviews, its broadcaster still offered a behind-the-scenes look for any viewers who sought more holiday cheer. On Facebook, YouTube star Meghan Rienks hosted a series of backstage interviewers that began after the show’s conclusion.

The Rienks-hosted stream went live on the official Christmas Story Facebook page and took place in front of a snowy backdrop set up in Southern California. Across the 14-minute stream, Rienks talked to several of the actors who had roles in the special, including David Alan Grier and Ken Jeong.

On her YouTube channel, Rienks occasionally showcases fashion hauls next to her vlogs, collaborations, and podcast episodes. In her duties as the host of FOX’s live stream, her sartorial sense came in handy. The broadcast was sponsored by Old Navy, and Rienks conducted her interviews while decked out in apparel provided by that retailer.

Rienks has more than 2.3 million subscribers on YouTube. She is also popular on Instagram, where her following is more than 1.3 million strong.
