The Young Turks To Cover Grassroots Movements In New ‘Rebel Headquarters’ Series

TYT Network, the digital news and entertainment giant, is launching this evening a brand new half-hour series that will cover grassroots political movements and progressive candidates who are running to unseat longstanding officials.

Titled Rebel Headquarters, the live show will bow this evening at 8:05 pm ET after the network’s flagship newscast, The Young Turks. Cenk Uygur, founder of TYT and host of The Young Turks, will also host Rebel Headquarters. He will interview current progressive officials and burgeoning candidates across the country, as well as report on organizations like Bernie SandersOur Revolution. Fellow Young Turks personalities Ana Kasparian and Jimmy Dore will co-host Rebel Headquarters. The show will air from Mon. to Thurs. on The Young Turks YouTube

channel, as well as TYTNetwork.com.

TYT’s millennial-leaning programming is distributed across Facebook, Twitter, go90, Hulu, and more, where it generates a total of 200 million views per month. In addition to its news properties, TYT Network also comprises 30 brands across other content categories, including the film review destination What the Flick?! and TYT Sports. The company closed a $20 million funding round in August.
