Vevo Taps Demi Lovato For Second Episode Of New Talk Show Format ‘Vevo Live’

Following the launch of a new talk show format dubbed Vevo Live last month — a livestreaming album release party of sorts featuring a Q&A and exclusive video screenings — Vevo is set to debut the second episode of the series on Friday featuring multi-platinum singer-songwriter Demi Lovato.

As the first Vevo Live show to take place on the East Coast, Lovato will be interviewed by host Katie Van Buren on the very day that she releases her sixth studio album, Tell Me You Love Me. (The inaugural Vevo Live featured pop quartet Fifth Harmony). Lovato will also take questions from fans tuning in from around the world as well as an intimate audience gathered on set at Vevo’s New York artist lounge. She will premiere exclusive performance videos throughout the broadcast, during which fans can chime in with reactions through a dedicated chat box.

Vevo Live is available internationally across multiple devices and platforms — including Vevo’s proprietary website and app as well as YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter. Fans can digitally RSVP for the event right here to be notified before the show kicks off on Sept. 29 at 2:30 pm ET.

Vevo, which counts 24 billion monthly views globally, developed Vevo Live during an internal hackathon last year, where the show began its life as a co-viewing app. Before the premiere Fifth Harmony episode, Vevo hosted several test Vevo Live episodes with Becky G, Kid Ink, and Grace Vanderwaal.
