Teni Panosian is getting a home makeover. The YouTube star, whose channel has more than one million subscribers, is the first creator whose living space is in the spotlight of Overhaul, a series born out of a partnership between Kin Community and Amazon Home.
In each episode of Overhaul, interior decorator Christiane Lemieux enters the home of a social star and helps her redesign her space. In the case of Panosian, Lemieux — the co-founder of Cloth & Company — mostly defers decisions to her YouTuber partner, who selects a suite of furniture and other upgrades for her Victorian house. Her taste proves to be eclectic, with a lot of different styles and colors mixed in.
Amazon, as Overhaul‘s sponsor, hosts the show and weaves a few products into it; there’s a scene toward the end of the first episode in which Lemieux and Panosian have some fun with an Alexa device. The most striking Amazon integration within Overhaul
, however, is the degree to which it is shoppable. Below each video in the series, viewers can find information about all of the items featured in in them, complete with links to their Amazon listings. Its a move that could drive significant sales, especially if Overhaul offers up a sleek sense of style.Click here to watch Panosian’s Overhaul episode.
If Overhaul‘s sense of style tickles you, or if you are merely fascinated by its novel approach to brand integration, you can check out new episodes as they arrive on Amazon. The next one will follow Lemieux as she brings her designer’s eye to the home of YouTube baking star Rosanna Pansino.
