Comedian Zach Anner tends to show up on our radar from time to time, and for his latest project, he is tackling an issue that is (literally) one of America’s hottest topics. Anner is the host of Earth Your While, a series about climate change that is available through SoulPancake.
In Earth Your While, Anner embarks on a journey to learn more about the environment and gauge the positions of ordinary citizens. In the premiere episode, his research comes in the form of man-on-the-street interviews with men, women, children, and one pig. Hannah Cranston, the co-host of The Young Turks‘ ThinkTank channel, makes a guest appearance.
Earth Your While bears a strong likeness to Anner’s previous partnership with SoulPancake, Have A Little Faith. In that series, which has spanned 29 episodes so far, the topic on the table is religion, but no matter the issue at hand, Anner brings a combination of curiosity and fearless wit to his videos.
Beyond his work with SoulPancake, Anner is also known for Workout Wednesday, which he hosts on his personal YouTube channel. In that series, Anner laces his calisthenic activities with self-deprecating humor about the cerebral palsy that has affected him since birth.
New episodes of Earth Your While will arrive each Thursday. To keep track of them, you’ll want to join the 2.2 million people who already subscribe to SoulPancake on YouTube.
