Jukin Media Strikes Global Licensing Pact With Action Sports Brand Nitro Circus

User-generated content giant Jukin Media has inked a global deal with action sports entertainment brand Nitro Circus to license and distribute its content library — which features videos of stunts performed on FMX and BMX bikes, skateboards, inline skates, scooters, and other contraptions.

Nitro Circus was co-founded by motorsports icon Travis Pastrana in 2003, and today produces TV shows (including an eponymous series on MTV); action sports tournaments, such as last month’s Nitro World Games; digital series like Off The Grid and Shenanigans; and stadium tours, including Nitro Circus Live. Jukin will assist brands, agencies, production companies, and digital publishers to leverage Nitro’s vast and dynamic library.

“The Nitro Circus content library is second to none as far as action sports go,” said Jukin founder and CEO Jonathan Skogmo

in a statement. “We’re thrilled to bring that content through our global pipeline, giving brands the opportunity to align with it and allowing entertainment companies to integrate it into their programming.”

Earlier this year, Nitro Circus — which counts 20 million followers across all social platforms — inked a deal with digital sports network Whistle Sports to create and distribute short and long-form programming. Jukin produces original shows for TV and the web. Its video brands, including FailArmy, People Are Awesome, and The Pet Collective, count 60 million followers and clock 1.5 billion monthly views.
