Lilly Singh Will Release A Week Of ‘Game Of Thrones’ Videos Ahead Of Season 7 Premiere

LillyiiSuperwomaniiSingh is very excited about the impending return of Game of Thrones. The Indian-Canadian YouTube star, who recently surpassed two billion total views on her primary YouTube channel, has released the first of several Thrones-themed videos she will share in the week leading up to the fantasy epic’s season seven premiere.

“I’m super pumped to announce that this week will be Game Of Thrones week on my channel,” Singh wrote in an Instagram post she published on July 9. “This means all my uploads will be #GOT themed and hey, you might even get more uploads than usual.”

The first of those themed uploads arrived on July 10. Titled “Why I Could Never Be On Game of Thrones,” it features Singh as the iconic characters Daenerys Targaryen, Cersei Lannister, and Jon Snow. While dressed up as those figures, she reels off a succession of one-liners, many of which have to do with the HBO hit’s large cast of characters, its slow pace, and her own obsession with its CG dragons. The video needed less than a day to surpass one million views, which is impressive even by Superwoman standards.

A day later, Singh continued her Game of Thrones week with a Jon Snow rap:

If, like Singh, you can’t wait for new Game of Thrones episodes to arrive, you only have to hold out a little longer. The program’s seventh season will begin on July 16.
